Music & Culture

From Friday to Sunday, in Summer, you will enjoy the Music in the Park program. Local musicians entertain outdoors with a variety of musical styles. You may want to take part in the Fabric Arts Festival, or the Jazz Festival, or maybe the Outrigger Canoe races.

Hiking, Walking & Biking Tours

Take a good book and swim suit and sit on any one of a number of lovely beaches. Perhaps you would like to take an evening picnic to the beach and sit around a driftwood fire and watch the stars come out.

On (and in) the Water

Try kayaking right in the Gibsons Harbour with Sunshine Kayaking www.sunshinekayaking.com. You can take a lesson or just head out and explore.

Leave from the Gibsons Marina and take a Cruise & Learn vacation with Suncoast Sail Cruise Canada. Catch salmon and crab with bob Dixon of Davis Bay Sport Fishing. Explore the many lakes in the area with Scott of Trouttales and fish for trout.

The Sunshine Coast is well known for spectacular scuba diving. Try your hand at this with Suncoast Diving. Sunshine Coast Tours will take you up the coast to Princess Louisa Inlet. Make it a day and hike into the Skookumchuk rapids.
